Elk Plain School to raise money for Friends of the Arts Foundation

A holiday event at Elk Plain School of Choice will help raise money for the arts.

"Chocolate, Chimes and Cheer" will feature student performances, an exhibition and a silent auction of local artwork, desserts and beverages. An arts and crafts silent auction also will be held. Proceeds go the school's nonprofit Friends of the Arts Foundation.

The event is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at 22015 22nd Ave. E, Spanaway.
